Is it true that men are not allowed to take baths or showers while trying to conceive?

My wife is telling me that any warm to semi hot bath is going to ruin our chances of conceiving and blaming me for why things won't work out.

I am experiencing due to Crohn's disease a temporary debilitating anal fissure so my doctor told me to do baths to let it heal.

My sperm count came in at 85 million to 165 million per ml and total was 1-2 ml. Each total 165 million to 185 million.

Motility was 40-45 percent with 80 percent forward moving.

Morphology was 2-5 percent. These ranges was over 2 tests.

She said my sperm is weak and I am trying my sperm for the next 3 months and told me I must suffer the pain.

Said no showers either. She said it must be ice cold which I thought is also bad and will cause my sphincter to spasm and me to be more debilitated

Threatened to divorce because I took a bath.

I am 38 and never heard of this

The irony is they said to wash so I took baths and showers before both sperm tests too.

Do most men have to suffer not cleaning because of this? Did I really screw up? I am in a lot of pain.
