Strumming Epiphany

Beginner player here but just got out of the habit of thinking about the “strumming pattern” of a song and just feeling the song and the rhythm and just play that instead. It is common knowledge here but such a game changer moment I had to share. I have so much more to learn but these leaps are so worth it. Tried Franklins Tower by the Grateful Dead when I first started and i was so bogged down by strumming pattern I just gave up but the chords are so straight forward! I picked up the guitar tonight and just played the song it was nuts. Thanks for reading I love this instrument lol
