Who's your favorite Gundam girl?

Noin from Gundam Wing is easily my favorite female character in the series. I’ve always loved how beautiful she is without looking like the typical anime “pretty girl.” She has this cool, slightly edgy look, and even the way she dresses feels very true to her personality. She’s not overly feminine, cutesy, or dressed just to be sexy. She just wears what she likes and what she feels comfortable in.

She’s also one of the most capable and skilled characters in GW, and honestly, it feels like the story doesn’t give her nearly enough credit for that. She played a huge role in Zechs’ career and basically helped build much of what he eventually became. That’s why it’s so frustrating that the writers waste so much of her potential, especially when it comes to her relationship with Zechs. Instead of letting her stand on her own as the incredibly capable character she is, they reduce her to someone who constantly puts up with a man who treats her terribly.

If I could change one thing about Noin’s story, I’d want her to finally call Zechs out on his bullshit, put him in his place, and walk away from him. She deserves to live her own life and be her own person instead of constantly being defined by her relationship with him.
