La Puck Techno — Fantasy Hockey Web Platform
Hello!
I’ve been running the same fantasy hockey pool with friends for over 10 years. About three years ago, I started building software to automate our rules because the existing platforms didn’t quite support the way we wanted to play.
Our format is a keeper league where GMs manage their roster but select their best 5 players each week and go head-to-head against another GM.
Over time, that little project turned into La Puck Techno, and I’ve kept developing it.
Now I’m curious about how other long-running leagues operate.
What rules or features does your league use that you wish existing fantasy hockey platforms handled better?
I’m especially interested in unusual keeper rules, contracts, drafts, trades, weekly matchups, commissioner tools, etc.
I’d like to make the platform flexible enough to support other league formats, so I’m happy to implement ideas that would be useful to the community.
For anyone curious about what I’ve built so far, it’s lapucktechno.com, but I’m mainly interested in hearing about your leagues and the features you feel are missing from existing platforms.
Thanks in advance!
Looking forward to hear from you!
