Navel Piercing on ‘Wrong’ Anatomy
Basically, I’ve been told by my regular piercer I do not have the correct anatomy for a navel piercing (my navel sits naturally closed when standing) and they wouldn’t do it for me. I understand their reasoning as they believe it would be difficult to heal etc even with a floating navel but I don’t want to give up on it. For context I have 30+ piercings so I’m no stranger to the rules. However I have seen a plethora of people online with my same shaped navel and they have it pierced so I’m wondering where people went to get it done / how the experience was? Most of what I’ve seen I think it’s people in the us but any Australians who have any info please lmk! Again, I respect the piercers right to refuse but I also believe that it should be my choice whether or not to get the piercing even if they don’t recommend it. TIA!
