Returning player (2023) - Changes?

As the title implies, I was wondering what sort of big changes have been made to this game in regards to gameplay, ships, and commanders since early 2023?

For context I tended to play cruisers (usually mobility builds), with a side of battleships/destroyers. Are there any new builds or ship lines to look into at the moment?
