Follow up after 1st Date?

Hey im 22F and new to adult dating. I just had a first date and I think it went well!

Is there a follow up question or anything I can do to get his perspective and to see if he thought the same? I just feel like I’ve spent the past 48 hours being anxious and over thinking everything.

I really like him a lot. He seems like a great guy. We had been chatting previously for two weeks and our texts were great. He would send paragraph after paragraph. But since the date he’s been busy, so he’s only been sending 10 texts each day since. He’s also not a phone person. There’s so many valid reasons for the lack of texting, but every single one of my friends says I’m either overthinking it or that he’s slowly starting to ghost me.

I really honestly don’t mind if from his POV he’s not interested, I just wish there was a way to ask without coming off as insecure or something. My friend said I should just asked, but I posted previously and everyone said it was bad to do so.

So does anyone have tips? I’m just tired of overthinking and either being told I’m crazy or stupid. I’m new to dating and I just don’t know how it all works :(
