Turns Out, the Sugar’s Sweeter in Another City…

NSFWCommentary

Okay… this might just be me turning Birmingham’s tiny bowl into a philosophical question lol, but I’m starting to wonder if distance can actually make an arrangement better?
I always assumed local meant easier, and easier meant more consistent. Apparently, those are three completely separate things haha. A man can live fifteen minutes away and somehow planning dinner feels like coordinating a rocket landing… meanwhile, someone who travels constantly can still tell you exactly when he’ll see you next and then actually show up. Funny how calendars work when people want them to.
I don’t need daily texting or to see someone every Tuesday at 7:00 lol. I actually like having my own little life. I just want some intentionality… make a plan, let me look forward to you, spend real time together, and then we can both return to being adults with jobs and responsibilities and whatever else.
So now I’m wondering if expanding beyond Birmingham would actually be practical… or if I’m just romanticizing airports and inconvenience because it sounds cute in my head.
For those who’ve had long-distance arrangements… did the distance make your time together feel more intentional, or did you just spend half the arrangement fighting with Delta?

P.S.:
Completely separate question for the SBs who love Sex and the City… wouldn’t the most interesting modern version be told from a sugar baby’s perspective? The same questions about sex, love, friendship, money and power…except the money is no longer politely edited out of the romance. I don’t know… I’d watch it. Carrie was an annoying protagonist anyway, MC would be a Samantha :)
