Jfk - Doha - EVN

Hi. I’m traveling from JFK to YEREVAN with a stop in Doha and it’s Qatar Airways, do they check the carry-on weight?

How strict are they? We are traveling with 5 check in bags and 2 carry ons and two strollers (including the babies obviously). We were allowed each 2 check ins, but taking 2 less.
