Means testing for social security benefits

What are the chances that as a way to shore up the social security deficit on the horizon, that a means test is put into place? I retired early at 55 and have not factored social security into retirement planning, just in case. That said, I'll be pissed if I don't get anything back out after putting in for the past 37 years.
