Could any Echoverse characters have survived?

The Echoverse wasn't just blinked out of existence; it's being eaten by Emrakul after already being semi-merged into the real Multiverse. In theory, couldn't some Echoverse characters have escaped/hidden/been missed by Emrakul?

In practice, it seems like they're not going that route. Emrakul seems to be able to just slurp up all the pieces of the Echoverse cleanly. And if anyone survives and turns into a "real" person that raises the question of Tam being responsible for the deaths of trillions by calling in Emrakul, which the story is dedicated to dodging by saying Echoverse people aren't "real" people with souls.

Thoughts? Is it possible some did survive? They could do an arc revealing remnants of the Echoverse and having Tam struggle with guilt.
