I've been running this myself for a while now — started as a personal project after using BingeCat and loving the idea of a smarter, personalized Nuvio experience, but wanting something built entirely around my own setup and taste instead of a one-size-fits-all tool. Credit to BingeCat for the inspiration. Enough people who saw what I'd built asked if they could use it too, so I've opened it up publicly. Worth saying up front: the whole design was built around what I personally wanted, which was to make it look and feel like a proper, professional streaming service UI — not a hobby project bolted onto Nuvio. So if something feels opinionated, that's why.

What it actually does:

🎬 Real personalization — "Because you watched X," recency-weighted genre picks, hidden gems, seasonal rows, and a blended AI recommendation feed, all built from your own watch history

📈 Trending Top 10 charts — real Top 10 Movies & Series charts (TMDB-trending-powered) with the actual rank number baked right into the poster art, just like a real streaming service

📁 Rich Collections/Folders — full control over what shows on your Home screen: custom cover art, focus GIFs, hero backdrops, tile shapes, pin-to-top, the works

🖼️ Gallery — browse and one-click-add pre-built collection folders (pulling in the excellent Kaptain Collection catalog — imkaptain.github.io/Kaptain-Collection — all credit to that project) or folders other users on the instance have chosen to share publicly

👤 Multi-profile support — every household member gets their own isolated profiles, collections, and recommendations

🔁 Layout control — drag-and-drop the exact order everything appears on your Home screen

⭐ Ratings — mark stuff loved/liked/not-for-me and have it actually feed back into what gets recommended

🔒 Sign in with your real Nuvio account, but your password is never stored — automatic background sync is opt-in and uses an encrypted, revocable sync token instead

📺 Works as a real addon in both Nuvio and Stremio

Getting started:
Just head to personalized.virtualpavi.com, sign in with your Nuvio account, and you're in — a starter set of collections gets added automatically so it's not an empty screen on day one (you can delete anything you don't want).

Honesty check: the "Install via Nuvio Cloud" and "Push to Nuvio" one-click buttons are genuinely experimental — they write directly into Nuvio's own sync backend and there's no official API for that, so treat the first use as a test and confirm it actually shows up. Everything else (manual manifest install, Collections, For You, Layout) is solid daily-driver stuff for me.

This is a side project I maintain in my spare time, not affiliated with the Nuvio team in any way. Please feel free to drop any issues or feedback in the comments — I'll be happy to help sort it out.
