 The Crazy Part of This Insurance Ombudsman Case  
  
4 PEOPLE. MULTIPLE COVID POLICIES. 263 CLAIMS.  
  
I just had a GMeet conversation with an insured who approached us for help with an old insurance dispute.  
  
While discussing his case, I went through the Ombudsman order.  
  
And honestly… I was shocked.  
  
The case records:  
  
 263 claims across insurers  
 31 claims under 3 policies with one insurer  
 24 claims were paid, around ₹7.8 lakh

The insured asked us for help.  
  
We said no.  
  
Not because we are judging him.  
  
But because sometimes, before taking up a claim, you need to look at the complete picture- not just one claim.  
  
40 COVID Kavach Policy each sum Insured 2.5L , 4 family member, 10 Insurer.   
  
He is fighting with insurer 1CR claim already received around 25Lakh to 30Lakh   
  
As per conversation with him.   
  
This case is CRAZY.
