Course rigor: Pretty much all APs/Honors courses (12 APs with one being this senior year). Total of 6 dual enrollment classes with my local community college at graduation.

AP scores: 5s on Psych, Lang, Calc AB, APUSH, Human Geo, APES, Micro and Macro. 4s on World History and AP Gov. One 3 on AP French

No ACT. SAT (it’s not great ngl): 1460

ECs:

- Editor in Chief of my school‘s nationally acclaimed literary arts magazine. Got a published work in junior year.

- Member of French Honors Society (leadership hopeful), Science Honors Society, Rho Kappa, and National Honors Society. Plenty of peer tutoring in these, and specifically helped mentor middle schoolers for science honors society to help them with a science fair.

- Lifeguard for 4 years (30-40hrs/week in summer months)

- Volunteered at / Organized a local No Kings protest this past March. Estimated attendance upwards of 1000 people.

- Organized and led a student walkout in protest of ICE’s presence this February. Estimated attendance of 500-600 students at my school.

- Participated in and wrote research for WFP Virtual Youth Institute, comes with recognition of being a Borlaug Scholar

- Intern at my congressional representative in the US house’s district office. Started mid summer. (~10hrs/week)

LORs:

1 from my junior year law teacher. This will be an absolute 10/10 she has been my mentor for many of my activities and can speak well about my growth.

1 from sophomore/junior year math teacher. Will be able to show perseverance after an initially rocky start to sophomore year and similar qualities. Pretty confident in this one too like a 9/10.

Essay: imo it’s good, it’s raw, and it shows me. highlights my perseverance w internalized homophobia (LGBTQ) and where I grew from that. i’m pretty fond of it tbh.
