Some days I still struggle with the unfairness and unpredictability

I'm in my early twenties and was diagnosed a couple of years ago. I had tried to do everything right. Worked hard on academics, stayed away from drinking, drugs etc. Grew up with MH issues so spent lots over the years on medicines and therapy. Had a perfect BMI, no family predisposition and yet, was hit with the diagnosis one day. I might have not been at the top of my game but didn't do worse by any means in terms of diet and exercise, in relation to my peers.

I realised that there is no point in searching for the cause. And I know a diagnosis is not anyone's fault. Shit just happens sometimes. But some days like today, I am still affected when I see my peers living healthily, while I had to give up food I loved and deal with a weak immune system. It's a hard lonely journey.
