Inlaws house issues

Hi everyone! I don’t know if I should tell my husband this but I’m having the hardest time spending the weekend in my in-law’s house. I’m a clean freak to be honest. I’m very sensitive to smells and keeping the house clean and spotless. I don’t like dirty, damp, wet and smelly places.

My husband wanted to spend some weekends of the month in his parent’s house. They are lovely and very nice people and we get along well the problem is, their house. The bathroom smells like urine and is quite dirty. The toilet area was always wet—no rugs or mats to absorb the water from the shower. The beddings smells like it hasn’t been changed for quite sometime so it makes my skin really itchy. I’m a light sleeper and their house is located just beside the highway so all the noise from the cars passing by wakes me up so im having the hardest time sleeping. And..we sleep in one room with his brother all the time…

When we spend the weekend over to my parent’s house, we always make sure that we have our own room. The sheets are newly changed and the house is clean and spotless.

I’m thinking if i should tell my husband this? I’m afraid he might be offended but i don’t want to be uncomfortable.
