Will Street Brawl Ever Be Updated Again?

For context I used to love this mode to death, and it was really cool that for a while Valve was specifically balancing heroes and items in Street Brawl.

However, the mode has been untouched for the last few months, with items like Enhanced Rescue Beam still plaguing this mode months on. That’s not to mention the state of legendaries that, to be honest, in my mind the mode would just be better without (but I imagine I’m in the minority there).

Furthermore, it feels like Street Brawl, despite the mode’s mechanics, feels incredibly repetitive and solved, with a clear defined hero meta and coordinated teams absolutely demolishing the mode (I have been guilty of this too).

Like I sincerely hope Valve isn’t doing a Valve and abandoning something otherwise really cool and fun, that serves as a nice casual mode to either build your confidence in the game, or to wind down after Standard. I know the new update is on the horizon soon, but I hope after it settles down, Street Brawl can get a bit of the limelight back.
