FOUND MY SPECIAL INTEREST HOLY GRAIL THIS IS SO UNREAL

AHHHHHHH *special interest imminent* 😈

When it comes to this comic, you're shit out of luck these days. They aren't (legally) digitally available, have been out of print for almost a decade and are very sought after. If you're lucky, you'll find these TPBs (which are 1 cm thick books that collect 3-5 issues, by the way) listed for 50 euros individually and 30+ if you buy all of them at once. Some of the more sought after issues go for 500 FUCKING DOLLARS. And I am saying dollars because most listings are American, and I am not.

Pirating them is rarely, if ever, condemned among fans, because what first time reader, or any reader for that matter, would be able to spend that kind of money?

So, I was counting on a reprint. One that may be on the table, but won't happen in years, if it ever does.

AND THEN IT HAPPENED. I FOUND IT. Among the mediocrity and trash I usually sift through on the resale websites, I found it. 5 TPBs. Sold in my part of Europe. For 20 euros each. Including the one of them that sometimes goes for 400+ dollars. It was insane. It didn't feel real. I literally started to shake. I just got my special interest holy grail handed to me on a silver platter, and I had to act NOW.

But... it's a lot of money! I COULD just keep reading the PDFs. I could keep refusing to spend money on nice things for myself. It could be wasteful! What if I got scammed! I can afford it, but what if I'm being irresponsible! What if I regret it?

Eventually, after 20 minutes of shaking, indecision and calling up a friend to get some sense into me, I DID IT!

I AM SO UNBELIEVABLY HAPPY. THIS IS UNREAL. I HAVE LITERALLY FANTASIZED ABOUT FINDING THE COMICS LIKE THIS. In every comic store, thrift store, comic collector's house I've been to, every time I sift through the listings. Hoping to find it at all. To even see it with my own two eyes. Dreaming of buying it at a reasonable price. Figuring it would never happen. And now it is mine? IT'S MINE? IT HAPPENED? WHAT
