Risks of going to trial for a silver bullet divorce

Divorce

Wife filed a DV restraining order to get me removed from my home just weeks after filing for divorce. Never been violent, and have now heard from various sources that this is a common tactic used nowadays to destabilize the man's life and get custody. Right after getting their temporary order granted, her attorney is asking for a settlement instead of us going to court (obviously leveraging the temporary order for favorable terms to her). Settlement obviously seems shitty because they are basically trying to cut off my parenting time and get a deal that gives her the upper hand in all aspects of the divorce. At the same time I have heard DV hearings have a low burden of proof and can lead to loss of custody for the accused even if innocent. Has anyone dealt with this? Did you fight it and did you prevail? Or is settling better for reducing the risk.
