17F, shy and barely know any guys — how do I start dating?

I’m a 17-year-old girl living in a small town in Germany. I’m a foreigner and my German is not so bad, so I can communicate but I’m not fluent. I’m also pretty shy.

I’ve been here for over a year, but I still haven’t had a boyfriend and barely know any guys my age. I sometimes go to bigger cities, but I honestly have no idea where young people meet and date here.

For people from Germany or Europe, where do teenagers/young people usually meet each other? Any advice for someone who’s shy and doesn’t have much of a social circle?
