Using Duckduckgo browser with Bitwarden extension

Can I use Duckduckgo browser with Bitwarden extension? I want the added security I get from Bitwarden (sorry) when using the Duckduckgo browser. Is this possible , or do I have to use the Chrome extension? Hoping someone can help.
