Why does my stupid body waste time doing 2-4 little sneezes? Why haven't I evolved to just do 1 big sneeze?

I just sneezed 3 times and I knew from the first 2 I definitely wasn't done, what's even the point? if I wanted a trilogy that has a disappointing start, an unsatisfying end and then a good ending I'd rewatch star wars episodes 1, 2 and 3
