Which SEO strategy worked well 2 years ago but doesn’t work anymore?
SEO keeps changing, and some tactics that used to bring good results don’t seem as effective anymore.
I was thinking about how much SEO workflows have changed recently. Some things that worked consistently before now need more focus on quality, relevance, and user experience.
A few examples that come to mind:
- Publishing content at scale without adding something unique
- Targeting keywords without understanding the actual search intent
- Building links without focusing on relevance
- Chasing rankings without looking at the bigger picture
I’m interested in hearing from people who have been doing SEO for a while:
What strategy worked well for you a few years ago but doesn’t work the same today?
What did you change in your approach?
