need help about boot sizing
i have a mondo 270, and i am searching for my first ever boot (2 seasons of rental hell) i tried it on shop and found a really good price for Salomon Dialogue BOA, it was 40%off retail (probably because of season change) so i tried it on size 270, my toes felt like it was being squeezed, it curled up and also since i have wide feet, the sides also just pressed up like crazy. i asked for a wide and they said they ran out of stock for the wides or size27.5. so they gave me other size27 boots (other brands) and i ran into the same problem. then i asked for a size 28, and i felt it was way nicer (of course since it was a whole size up).
i know that boots are supposed to conform the feet, but i felt like the27 just curled my toes too much. i tried on another store for a 27.5(price is retail) and it felt better, still curled but bearable.
i opened the liner and the 27.5 vs the 28, the 28 was lengthy, my toes didn’t touch the liner at all. the 27.5 on the other hand, touched it a bit on my big toe.
i really feel like i might regret buying a boot that is a little too big, but at the price (again, 40% off retail) is a steal.
any advice?
