After the recent Bittu Bhai incident and the viral videos of people cleaning rivers, I’ve noticed a positive change in people’s mindset.

More and more people are slowly starting to take responsibility. Some have even started cleaning their neighborhoods, lakes, and rivers on their own.

A few days ago, I posted about Durgam Cheruvu Lake, and I was honestly surprised to see how many people were willing to join. So, we’re planning to organize a cleanup drive after September 25, following the Ganesh Nimajjanam, and we’re also trying to collaborate with Hyd Youth. There are several communities now coming together in Hyderabad for cleanliness and civic responsibility.

I’m genuinely grateful to see this change. People are thinking. People are reacting. People are taking action.

But then comes the bigger question: What is the government doing?

Where is the movement from their side?

No significant change. No visible movement.

VIP clearances still take priority.

Basic cleanliness is still being neglected.

Very little investment is being made in innovative solutions.

Meanwhile, people are slowly reacting to these problems one by one, taking matters into their own hands and trying to make a difference.

If citizens are willing to step up and change their mindset, shouldn’t the government be moving faster too?

We don’t need just viral moments. We need long-term systems, innovation, accountability, and consistent action.

Should I stop Paying Tax to Govt.?
