Should I get A6400?

Hi everyone! I’m planning to buy my first camera during the upcoming sales and I’m currently looking at the Sony A6400 + Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 combination. I’m a complete beginner to camera photography, so I’d really appreciate some advice from experienced Sony users. I’m mainly interested in photography and want something I can learn with for the next few years. I’m also considering upgrading to an A6700 sometime in the future, so I’d like to invest in things that I can continue using after upgrading.

Do you think the A6400 is still worth buying in 2026, Also, what would you consider the essential accessories/items to buy along with the camera and lens as a beginner? Things like extra batteries, SD card, filters, camera bag, cleaning stuffs etc. — I’d like to keep the initial purchases sensible and avoid buying unnecessary stuff. Any advice on the setup, what to prioritize, or things I should know before buying would be greatly appreciated!
