Looking for Huguenot/French roots: SIMON (weaver) in Albersweiler, Germany (c. 1690–1725)

Hello everyone,

I am looking for information regarding my ancestor, who is highly likely of French/Huguenot origin. I would deeply appreciate any tips, database lookups, or advice on where to search next.

Here are the facts I have:

* Name: Vincent / Vincentius Simon

* Occupation: Textor / Weber (Weaver)

* Estimated birth: ca. 1690–1705

* Marriage: April 16, 1725, in Albersweiler (Pfalz/Palatinate region, Germany) to Margaretha Busch.

* Known children: Jacob Simon (born 1736).

I am trying to find his exact date of birth, his parents, and his place of origin (before he arrived in Albersweiler). Since he was a weaver, he might have migrated with a group of other French refugees.

I have already contacted the PRFK (Pfälzisch-Rheinische Familienkunde), but unfortunately, the key researcher there is currently unavailable.

Does anyone have access to Huguenot databases, local family books (Ortssippenbuch/Familienbuch Albersweiler), or suggestions on how to trace this family back to their French roots?

Thank you so much for your help!
