[Partially Lost] Zach Callison's appearence on the game show "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" in 2009
Context: Before voicing Steven in Steven Universe, actor Zach Callison was a recurring 5th-grade classmate on the daytime syndicated version of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (often catalogued as Season 4 or Daytime Season 1). He reportedly filmed roughly 55 episodes, which premiered daily starting around September 21, 2009. Here's proof from an article, including his Wikipedia Page: https://www.focusonthefamily.com/clubhouse/articles/zach-attack/
Here's a VERY RECENT YouTube Video interview with Zach talking about being on the game show to prove my point: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKrlOzeOkLg
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zach_Callison - This is just evidence that he was, in fact, on the show.
Because this syndicated version was heavily stripped, it never received a physical media release and isn't on streaming platforms like Tubi or Roku. Almost all of his episodes are currently considered lost media.
Evidence: An old thread on the r/stevenuniverse subreddit from 10 years ago directly linked a YouTube video of him on the show (where he famously guessed "Reptiles" as an answer). That video has since been privated/deleted. Here's the proof: https://www.reddit.com/r/stevenuniverse/comments/5hkrcf/til_zach_callison_was_on_are_you_smarter_than_a/
- Dead YouTube Link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAQ9ToxeJ_g - Video ID:
oAQ9ToxeJ_g - Wayback Machine Status: The Wayback Machine shows crawler activity/green dots around November 2020, but it only captured the page shell/error screen, not the actual server-side media file.
Does anyone in the archival or data-hoarding community happen to have a local hard drive backup, a mirror link (Mega/Google Drive), or a ripped copy of this specific video ID (oAQ9ToxeJ_g) before it went dark? Any help or leads to tracking down his run on the show would mean so much to me because I am a huge fan of Zach Callison's early work, and I love AYSTAFG! Love y'all, PLEASE help!
