Endo Review Appointment

Question

I just received a letter for my review appointment with my endocrinologist. It says I have to call them back within 14 days, but I don't know what will happen if I don't. I really don't want to call them back.

This Endo got transferred in after the last one disappeared for some reason. At first we were excited because the last one was condescending and creepy but this one turned out to be even worse for our care. She basically told all our other doctors that we're delusional and should be denied care.

For reference, I am trans, but I am also intersex. A few years ago they discovered a uterus when conducting an ultrasound on me in relation to unexpected pms symptoms. For years, this was something that we investigated, but not anymore. Now the Endocrinologist has decided that the scan is wrong and a group of radiologists couldn't find the uterus on a pelvic MRI. Which would be fine and understandable if it weren't for the fact that it was a bone MRI, not a tissue one. There is no way they could've seen anything because they were looking at the wrong scan. But this one bogus scan was enough reason to deny the existence of the Ultrasound.

When calling up a GP for a referral for a private tissue MRI (the one that would actually conclusively show us whether the uterus is present or not) they said the Endo has blocked it. They've decided no further investigations are necessary and the GP is not allowed to provide me with a referral for one. I was initially going to go private because she seemed supportive of it, but it appears she's done a complete 180. That appointment also revealed what she'd been saying behind our back, that she believed we were delusional and that she was pushing other doctors that we're helping us to cease their investigation.

So far, all she's done for us is "take us off" HRT, deny access to intersex care, and condescend to us at every turn. So you can see why we'd be hesitant to see her again. What are the consequences if we refuse to schedule and attend our review appointment?
