DUA Mindscape Research Project

Project details:

Research is conducted by 3 elite psychological researchers lead by Head Researcher Prof. I. Sui.

With the use of a compliant Sloth Demon and a mixture of drugs the researchers enter a temporary lucid coma state. They are able to explore the larger mindscape thro this process.

"Mindscape is the ocean of minds, a flod that every man, woman and children are a part of. But where does the water come from, what secrets remain in the depths of minds? Thats the questions I and my carefully chosen comrades will answer.

Do not ask how the demon we come to call..."Fluffball" agreed to be a part of this. The hypnosis their kind could provide was crutial to test my hypothesises. Putting us to sleep will feed it, its a win win.

May our venture help humanity not to survive, but to thrive. As we come to understand our selves humanity shall overcome their illnesses that turned our heaven to hell."

"Despite teams best efforts we remain locked in the zone we call the Lucid layer, the phisical world reflected near perfectly thro eyes of man. Its easily altered in small ways thro simple wishing, without any drawbacks. Admitidly the team was having too much fun experimenting to actually look for a way to reach deeper. We hope to reach to the next layer of Mindscape soon."

"At last we were able to escape the Lucid layer, and enter into the "Dreamland". Where reality as we know it is dialuted to the point of unrecognizeablity. Where mind ventures to in their sleep, under regular circumstances that is.

Dreamland is as reactive as Lucid to the presence of us, not being bound by laws of phisics makes the changes far more seveare. Before we could go deeper we had to wake up."

"As we spend time in the Dreamland, members of the team started to report something wierd. I wasnt sure what to make of it before I too started to experience it.

A voice, female sounding, suddenly speaking out of thin air. The words were quiet. I barely realized there were words but now that I did, I cant unhear her. Even at the off time in awake world. Team will take a break to see if the auditory halusinations will go away."

"I was happy to find out how one sinks deeper than the Dreamland but... there is not much we can say about area we called The Depths.

Depths of mind hold things forgotten to mankind, and while thanks to the anti-amnesiac drugs we can recall what we see, we dont have any idea what these things are. We cant really describe them eighter, our languages lack words for these."

"I think I saw an eye in the depths. Just for a moment, right in the corner of my vision. I guess its only wierd because, the depths lack any such normal things but... the feeling I have been getting watched has been... was this even worth a log?"

"The Abyss of mind... the foundation uppon all of mankinds minds were built. The collective subcountiosness theory was true after all.

All these mythological beings and symbols... manifested right in front of our eyes. So far, I have seen way more dicks then I was expecting.

This has to be the final layer, I can feel it in my gut. Our expeditions will soon end, I cant belive it has already been 4 years since I wrote that first log."

Writer: Prof.I.Sui

"Today we will try to go deeper thro the chasm we found last sesion. I am genuently not certain what could lie beneeth this layer, didnt we already reached the foundation of human countiousness? Time we find out, what lies underneet the human minds! I think our research is finally at its end point."

DUA Mindscape Research//Log 582

Writer: \_\_\_\_\_\_\_

"They saw her shadow thro the weil, and with curiosity as their eternal flame the fleeing perception was enough to poke a hole in the chains of her. Dont you hear the trumpets of heaven? Dont you see the truth of the world? Enlightment has reached humanity! Do not wory, nigh it will open your eyes too! What has begun cannot be stoped, cannot be delayed anymore."

Triger warning, self harm

DUA//Research and Containment Department//Incident Report//No:1327

Incident Participants: The Mindscape Research Team

Incident Type: Mass Suicide

Incident Details: Contact with members of the Mindscape Research Team was lost after their last sesion going into the "Abyss of Mind". Aproximately 10 minutes afterwards 4 gunshot sounds were heard from their clasified research station. Guards found the researchers sitting in a circle, each with a hole in their head. A standard self defence pistol was in the hand of Prof. I. Sui. No signs of force or strugle was found. Several letters were found in the middle of the room, the contents of these letters has been clasified by Director P. Cineres.

The demon that was used for the Mindscape research has refused to talk or eat, eventually withering away into nothingness.

Because of this incident all research on Mindscape has been stopped for the forseeable future.

"To Philip, my dear student and colege,

I am sory for the trouble we are about to cause to you but please understand our decicion isn't one we made easily. None of us want to die. Nobody ever wants to die, not like this. But we all saw and now we... no, I cant explain, it would doom you too.

We fucked up, I was so curious about what was in the shadows of out mind that I never once tought why it remained outside of our cognition. We know now, and we must not let others know, despite...

Deae Fledgling, despite howt might sound you must do what I say in this letter to the letter. Erase our research. Burn this letter. Burry my memory if you must. It wont stop her, but maybe this will delay.

Goodbye, Fledgling. I am sory ı wont be able to come for coffee like we planned. Tell little Sera I said hi.

Issac."
