Disclosure: I run an SEO agency (SEO India), so I'm watching this across several client accounts, which is the only reason I even noticed a pattern worth asking about — not fishing for clients, just genuinely comparing notes.

Every year around this time, I expect some seasonal noise in traffic and rankings — that's normal, festive season shopping behavior shifts search intent, budgets change, content calendars get weird. But this year feels like there's more volatility than usual, and I'm trying to figure out if that's just my perception or something real.

A few specific things I'm noticing across accounts:

* Search volume for several commercial-intent keywords spiking earlier than in previous years, then dropping off faster too — almost like the "buying window" compressed
* More queries showing AI-generated overviews or AI-search-style answers directly in results than I remember seeing even a few months ago, which is eating into click-through even for pages ranking well
* A couple of clients seeing traffic hold steady or grow while conversions dipped slightly — as if more traffic now is "research" browsing rather than intent-heavy visits

None of this is a crisis for any specific account, but it's enough of a pattern across unrelated clients that I wanted to check if others are seeing the same thing, or if I'm just reading tea leaves in a small sample.

Curious about a few things from people managing their own sites or accounts right now:

* Anyone else noticing search intent or volume patterns shifting earlier/faster than previous years?
* Is anyone seeing AI overviews eating into CTR more noticeably this quarter specifically?
* If you track conversion rate separately from traffic, has that gap widened at all recently for you?

Not looking for site-specific advice here, just trying to figure out if this is a broader seasonal/industry shift worth planning around, or just normal year-to-year variance that I'm overthinking.

Is Q4 always this unpredictable for organic traffic, or is this year different?
