Breastfeeding culture in Denmark?

Hi guys,

We are looking to relocate to Denmark and I read that both parent get each 24 weeks of parental leave and that 11 weeks are mandatory for the father. The remaining 13 weeks can be transferred to the mother of the wish.

Just to understand more about your culture and reading about your experiences, I was wondering how many are actually transferring (if so, how many weeks did you transfer?), are you both staying home at the same time and how soon mothers are returning to work?

How long are you breastfeeding and how do you combine with returning to work?

I.e. are you giving bottles and pumping or are you giving formula?
