Seeking guidance
First week went great and, despite not having high expectations, it wasn't bad at all.
Batch mates are good, labs have been going well, faculty is also satisfactory. But, I am having an issue socialising with ppl.
Ik it's js me, but I've never been the extroverted type to go out and meet a lot of ppl, and get into groups. I find it better to just have a few good friends or ppl I can talk with during the uni phase, and js have fun with them or work with them - and then go back home.
I find it difficult to stay active in the syndicate GC, and I'm not that out- going either. The GC is always buzzing and I feel a lil depressed when I feel that I don't have enough energy to be "buzzing" too
My question to anyone willing to spare some time and helping me out is this: Will I be okay if I'm unable to interact A LOT and be that active around GCs, and in-person groups? If i just keep a good formal contact with the batch, a few convos with seniors and faculty, and have some participation in events/societies, will i be able to survive in the uni?
