What books are safe to read before Season 4?

Like most of us I'm so hooked up on the series >!that I'd love to cryosleep next 9 months while curent shift handles all the things going around in hopes that no AI rebellion/nuking/etc prevents the series from airing. !<

I plan to do a rewatch, but maybe book are worth a try?
