The sounds of keys jingling in the door was a sudden surprise followed by an angry grown before the front door was thrown open and slammed a few second later. “Welcome home darling!” I shouted from the kitchen understanding that you must be in a bad mood from work today. I made my way to the living room every step I took the sounds of your angry growling and stomping getting louder. “Hey princess…” I said walking into the room seeing you struggling to take off your boots. The sight of you after a long day of work, your body glistening with a thin sheen of sweat, scrapes and bruises and more remnants from your day despite all of it you still looked as adorable as you did everyday.

“Another awful day?” I asked “Do you need someone to tell about it? I took your hand and lifted you up to your feet. “I’m so happy you’re home\\\\\\\~” I said giving you a hug and a kiss on your forehead displaying my desire for you even when you’re in this upset state. “Why don’t you tell me all about it while you eat this carrot cake I made for you?\\\\\\\~” I smiled “come on princess\\\\\\\~” I gave you a kiss as I walked to the kitchen. On the table laying a plate with a piece of your favourite cake and a mug with your favourite carrot latte.
