Is CS50 a good place to start for learning the coding and theory necessary for gamedev?

Question

Like the title says, I’m beginning learning the things necessary to work on a game since it’s always been a thing I’m interested in but there’s lots of conflicting info online as you can imagine and I’m just trying to figure out if CS50 is a good starting point.

If not does anyone have a better idea to start with? I’m planning on using godot for reference.

Also if CS50 IS a good place to start, is there anything else I should learn/do afterwards before starting or is that the point where I should just start working and learn through experience?

Thank you for anyone who has any advice!
