Marriage issues

Relationships

Hello my favourite group of people on Reddit.

I've talked about my marriage of 35 years, along with how to leave a person you care about. Sometimes it's hard to articulate all the little things but something happened today that I think might be an example and I seek your learned advice/opinions.

I've been battling golden staph for a year now. I contracted it visiting hospital while my elderly parents were actively dying last year. It's resistant to antibiotics and healing consists of taking two steps forward and one step back. I've had five courses of penicillin in the last twelve months. I'm currently dealing with a small setback and have a Dr appointment on Monday.

Today my husband basically blamed me for it. It's my fault for letting it continue so long without taking proper care.

As far as I know, a person can only have a certain number of courses of ab's in a given time period. I've only had them when there's an obvious infection.

This is just an example and I'm extremely pissed.

Am I overreacting? I seek your learner counsel.
