How can I make a new task a bonus task (without drag and drop)?

Hi! I want to try the daily planning strategy and plan one or two essential tasks per day and a couple of bonus tasks.

For this purpose, I have set the group by view in the today page to Essential/Bonus. By default, all tasks scheduled for today appear in the Essential section. I can drag them into the bonus section when working on my laptop.

However, I'd like to enter new tasks scheduled for future dates with the + button and/or with the braindump functionality and assign them as bonus tasks with the keyboard. Is that possible? How?? Or is it only possible to do this via drag and drop into the bonus section.
