A Suggestion About Projects Selection Process

First of all, I just want to say I really appreciate what you've built here. The fact that people can find genuine remote jobs from anywhere in the world is honestly a big deal, and I know a lot of effort went into making this platform what it is. So, thank you for that.

I wanted to share something I've noticed, and I’m sharing it as a suggestion.

It seems like sometimes, experts who are already working on a project get selected for another one at the same time. I've seen this happen, and it got me thinking.

On some other platforms I’ve come across, once you are actively engaged in a project, you are generally not considered for another project until your current commitment is completed. The idea is that commitment is also part of the selection process.

So I sometimes wonder about the situation where an expert is already working on a project and still gets selected for another one, while there are thousands of other qualified experts who have been waiting for weeks or even months without getting a project or task.

Could there be a system where active project participation is taken into consideration before assigning someone to another project? For example, let's say that priority could be given to qualified experts who are currently inactive or have been waiting for a long period. This could give more people an opportunity to participate and still allow the recruiting team to select the best candidates for each project.

I think what you have built is impressive. But because the platform now has a large pool of experts, I think the selection system also needs to evolve with it.

If you already have thousands of capable people waiting, giving multiple projects to someone who is already actively engaged in another project may not necessarily be the best use of the available talent pool.

Maybe there are reasons behind the current system that we as experts don't see, and that's understandable too. But from the outside, I think this is one area the team should look into.

Just my two cents. I’m sharing this because I want to see more experts get opportunities.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
