Did anybody else feel like they weren't allowed to be silly and/or have fun after they turned 18?
Idk, ever since I was like halfway through 17 I figured I was too old to do anything stupid or fun.
Felt like I was LITERALLY the image of the dude saying "Hello fellow kids". Like I'd missed my shot and it was getting sad at that point. Even though I still wanted to do those things.
It's even worse now that I'm 18. I kinda stopped drawing or writing because I became so overly critical of it. I didn't have the excuse of "I'm young, nobody's gonna judge me too hard if it's bad" to hide behind anymore.
I feel like I can't show intense emotions in public anymore either. Nobody wants to see a "grown ass adult" acting excited and jumping around in public. That's reserved for kids 16 and under.
I feel like I have lost so much of myself.
