Moving dog over from UK to Japan?

Hi all,

Already been living here for a bit and my mum is kindly assisting getting our dog all vaccinated and sorted to come from the UK , which will be possible from March next year.

After alot of research and thinking, myself and my husband are really hoping to not put our dog in the hold, and so I was wondering if anyone had any experience coming with their dog in the cabin from UK to Tokyo - which airline did you use and your experience. I understand it will need to be a flight with a stop as JAL ANA BA etc dont offer this but want to make sure I haven’t missed any options.

Shes a 6kg miniature dachshund:)

Thank you!
