X-T5 + Godox iT30: Is there a way to make Auto ISO take the flash into account?

Question

Hi everyone,

I’m using a Fujifilm X-T5 with a Godox iT30, and I’m trying to find a simple way to shoot with flash without having to manually adjust my ISO every time.

I’m using the flash in TTL mode, but when I use Auto ISO, the camera can still choose something like ISO 12800 (e.g. 1/60s, f/4, ISO 12800), even though the flash is firing.

Is there a setting on the X-T5 that makes Auto ISO properly take the flash into account when determining the ISO? Or is Auto ISO essentially calculated based on the ambient exposure, with the TTL flash being handled separately?

I’d ideally like a setup where I can just switch to TTL flash and let the camera/flash handle the exposure automatically.

Thanks!
