Have you ever made a friend with an employee at their job or vice versa if you were an employee and made a friend with a customer?

I’m curious to know if other people have done that like you made a friend with an employee at their job or if you were an employee and made a friend with a customer. I made a friend with a GameStop employee when I came by to the store regularly wherr we had long chats about stuff and we became friends and hung out more.
