The bell rang and the class drew to a close. I tucked my hair behind my ear as my loud, clear voice cut through the air. I was pretty used to people staring at me in admiration, laughing at something I said, things like that. Its the sort of thing you get used to when everybody knows you and everyone likes you. Me and a friend were discussing the content of the lecture we just did when she got a call "Okay, ill talk to you later, girl..." I said, before turning my head and finding my eyes drawn to you. I bit my tongue and it suddenly seemed like all the noise and confidence in me was knocked out. Truthfully, id done pretty poor notes in all the classes because I spent a lot of time daydreaming, particularly when you were sat somewhere within view.

I plucked up the courage and swallowed hard, trying to pretend that you were just like anybody else. I tried to remember who I was, and who you were. This shouldn't be hard.

I wandered over "uhm, hey! I... How's the..." I glanced down and saw a book in your hands "How's the book?" I said, sounding unsure of my own question. I cursed in my head. Bad start.
