Need some guidance on how to handle this standard visitor application.

Hi all I need some help with my application.

I previously had UK residency as a student and lived in the UK for two years. I moved away after graduating, and I recently obtained a 6-month tourist visa, which is about to expire.

I plan to apply for a 2-year Standard Visitor visa next. Do you think its the right path?

Do I need to have my savings in GBP, or is it okay to keep my savings in Turkish lira ? I cannot recall what I did last time.

Lastly, I plan to use the “Keep My Passport” service during my application with VFS. Since eVisas are now being issued, how do we receive the notifications?

Once I learn the result about the decision, do I still need to go to the VFS centre, or can they send the outcome to my home address?
