Do balkan parents still expect their adult children to send money back from abroad?

Before when unemployment was 50% and salaries were 150 euro I could see why they expect it, but now that unemployment is low and salaries have risen in the balkans im wondering if the majority of parents still expect remittances this or would outright refuse to accept them? Has culture caught up to economy?
