My main project I'm working on.

PinnedOfficial post

I'm going to spilt this into three parts, the Genreal idea, things I have, things I need. If you have ideas for any one of these things please let me know! And thank you for reading if you do. Also excuse poor Grammar and stuff as I get very excited talking about my projects, if you need clarification please ask.

THE GENREAL IDEA- The general idea of the campaign called "Call of Rebirth", is a Isekai fantasy game focused on magic, spell crafting, potion crafting, and exploration. I made 250+ spells which I will be making a small book about sometime.

It's built for 2-5 players, one DM and 1-4 players, each isekaied character will have to choose a god at random and depending on the god they choose they get a couple options for their "Boon" which is a special unique magic item, spell, or passive ability for the player.

In my campaign I made it so the players get scars based on their deaths but you don't have to. Players get to hold a vote for if they get to spawn together or spawn apart, unless the DM rather they just spawn together. They'd spawn in with nothing but old clothes and a rusty shiv then have to use their wits, magic, and so on to get more gear, money and housing. The DM can of course change the difficulty of their start but I'll get into that later.

The main BBEGs are "the seven deadly sins" chosen generals of the true BBEG "The Dark One", their goal is to bring the Dark One back to life so he can continue his genocide. You can defeat the sins by either killing, capturing, or converting them, I'll talk about the sins in a different post sometime down the line.

THE THINGS THAT I HAVE-

  1. Spell learning mechanics- using trivia cards they have to memorize and remake the spell rune to learn it, they get one try every 5 minutes in game.

  2. Spell crafting mechanics- if a player has a few spells learned they can attempt to craft a spell! They get a small tablet like thing and if they can craft an existing spell they can learn if with a coin flip, if the spell they crafted doesn't exist then they must describe what the spell they made is using the logic of the runes they used, if DM decides the logic doesn't work they must try again .

(Exp. A. You craft fireball after learning air push and ignite by putting one central fire rune , then one fire rune, and one air push rune as outer runes creating fireball from scratch.

Exp. B. you craft a unique spell using fire as a central rune, a healing rune, and rejuvenation rune as outer runes then you create a new spell that doesn't exist that acts as fire but heals instead of hurts)

  1. Potion crafting mechanics- I am nearly done with a potion recipe book that goes over ingredients, cooking processes, and more in it. It's written like a recipe book too

  2. An entire map and global map- I have a map for the continent that the campaign takes place on and a map for the entire globe. The world's name is Garvaria and the continent that the game takes place on is Arulla.

  3. Races- I have a bunch of different races in this, if a player wants to be a different race they must make a compelling argument to their god on why they should. My races are mostly the normal ones you see everywhere fantasy but I have some unique ones, atleast I hope, like Woxen ((half wolf half fox, aka wox)) beastkin cousins to kitsune although seen as dirty due to racism), Crystalions (sentient magical nervous systems that live in crystals to protect themselves), Rounike ( evil incarnate.... Literally. They are pure evil as they were born from the first act of evil and can only reproduce through evil acts. They're tall lanky pale or pitch black creatures that love to raise hell.), various sea monster types, and Lunier (nocturnal humanoids allergic to high levels of UV light. Mostly live in caves or near the accursed volcano which never sees sunlight. Very friendly people)

6.surival mechanics- there's mechanics for crafting, blacksmithing, gardening, carpentry, etc. I like making shit so I made my game have a lot of it optionally

  1. Lore- I have....so much.... fucking lore it's insane

  2. And finally but not leastly very starter friendly environment- this can be a hard campaign but it can also be stupid easy just depends on your DM. I designed it to be very starter friendly so anyone can play

THE THINGS I DON'T HAVE-

  1. A guidebook- I have had serious writers block due to college lately so I haven't had time to make one but would love help if offered TvT

  2. More quests!- I have a lot of planned quests but I need some for the start and side quests

  3. An idea on how to make this translate to a TTRPG- I can make it a campaign no issue but need help making it translate to the tabletop part

  4. Magical items- I've stolen some from DND, some of my own, and stolen from some video games but would love more suggestions

  5. Help- I've been doing this on my own for ages now and would appreciate any help, if none is given that's fine but some is nice. Although once more not required.

Thank you for reading all that if you did not atleast skimming it. I hope you like my idea and if not that's fine too lol.
