hit and run while active

🤬Rant about DD🥵

Hello, I’m seeking some guidance. I am currently a college student, and this is my first car. It’s already been through a lot, and I recently hit Platinum on DoorDash. So anyway, I was picking up an order from Burger King. The lobby was closed, so I had to go through the drive-thru. While waiting for my second order to be made, I got rear-ended by the driver behind me. I got out of the car, completely shocked and unable to think straight. The driver who hit me got out, said nothing was wrong, and I proceeded to ask him for his information. Instead, he got back in his car and sped off. I couldn’t even get his license plate or a clear picture of his info. While still in shock, I called DoorDash support and told them about my situation. They unassigned me from one of the orders, but told me I had to finish my dash, so I did. Later, after getting home to review my dashcam footage, I realized the plates still couldn’t be identified. While I was still at Burger King, I had asked the staff if they could help me look at their camera footage, but they claimed the drive-thru was in a blind spot and couldn't see anything, and honestly, no one even checked. After getting home, I called the non-emergency police line, and they got mad at me for not calling while I was still at the scene to report the incident. Now, my lower back is in so much pain and feels pinched, and DoorDash has sent me a form to fill out. What should I do next?
