Dating a non college grad

Love & Relationships

Problem/Goal: I’ve been dating this guy for a few months now and I’m genuinely happy with him. I like him a lot and I can really say na compatible kami romantically and emotionally. However, I keep having this thought at the back of my mind na baka may “mas okay” pa dyan, and I’m not sure if it’s because of him, my own expectations, or the people around me.
I don’t want to judge him based on his educational background or career, especially since I genuinely like him as a person. I guess I’m trying to figure out whether this doubt is something I should take seriously or if it’s just an insecurity that I need to work on.

Context: The guy I’m dating works a blue-collar job. He went to college for 2 years but eventually stopped because he felt like college wasn’t for him plus nagpalaya na bc he had other siblings na nagaaral. Since then, he’s consistently worked and has been building experience, with plans to eventually go abroad as a skilled worker for a more stable income.
Aside from his career/education, I really like who he is. He’s very nice, thoughtful, caring toward his family, and hardworking. He’s also well-liked by his coworkers and has a lot of friends who genuinely enjoy being around him. I’d say he has pretty high emotional intelligence. The people I talked to abt him and the ppl around him only has nice things to say.
When we’re together i honestly don’t think about his educational background or job. We just click naturally and I never really have a hard time being around him. We also talk about our futures and I don’t feel bothered by the difference in our backgrounds during those conversations.
I don’t think I have a preference for someone with a higher educational level as long as may alam naman and someone I can have meaningful conversations with.

(Reposted it bc im still thinking abt it and need advice to work on this)
