Human clarity doesn’t mean pretending there is always a perfect third option
Sometimes every available choice has a cost.
Clarity isn’t telling someone, “There must be another way,” when their circumstances genuinely limit what they can do.
It is helping them separate:
what they cannot currently control;
what choices remain available;
what each choice may make possible;
and what they can do next to improve their position.
We don’t always get to choose the situation. We do get to decide how thoughtfully we respond to the choices we have.
And an imperfect decision made with good information is not a life sentence. It is simply the next step.
When has accepting the reality of your choices helped you move forward?
